News You Can Use...

One more week has passed...

Which means not only is it that much closer to SPRING,

It's also Friday! TGIF! TGIF! TGIF! 

And it also means it's time for news you can use. :-)

Oh, that's right...getting distracted whilst writing (a HUGE problem of mine). In the post, Michelle mentioned WRITE OR DIE, which I had never heard about for and omgIthinkitsthecoolestthingevvvver. So first check out Michelle's post because it's, uh, awesome. And then check out WRITER OR DIE. Again, awesome.

2. If you're a fan of Jane Austen, or a fan of "Downtown Abbey", you must read the recent article in LA Times: Make it Stop: Jane Austen meets "Downtown Abbey" in new book. 

3. Don't forget to check out Barnes & Noble top romance sales of the week. I will most certainly be picking up that Sylvia Day title! LOVE HER.

4. And speaking of top picks, lets not forget the New York Times Best Seller list for this week. PLEASE people, can we please forget about Fifty What's-His-Face?? And look at better works on the list, like, uh..."How To Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting Yo Kill You."  PLEASE?!?!?

5. Next Wednesday, ABNA will be rolling out the contestants who made it past the first round of this year's contest. 10,000 entrants down to 400 in each category. I made it through last year, let's see if the same pitch worked again! By this time next week, I'll either be squealing for joy or in tears.

6. BIG NEWS. Like, HUGE. Next Thursday (Valentines Day!) is Omnific's Birthday! WHOOT! And to celebrate, they are giving away THREE KINDLES. And that's not the best part...all three kindles will be pre-loaded with romances from Omnific authors! DOUBLE WHOOT! Be sure to stop here next Thursday to get a spicy excerpt of my coming romance All-American Girl, along with all the contest deets! It will be swoonworthy day!

7. AND ANOTHER THING, on Friday the 15th, I'll be rolling out a Valentines contest where one lucky (and creative!) person can win something really, really, really cool. And yummy.
